Clark/D.A. Everett Kicks Off Highly Anticipated Bank of America Stadium Renovation with Contractor Outreach Event
January 28, 2026
CHARLOTTE, NC — Clark Construction Group and D.A. Everett Construction (Clark/D.A. Everett), the joint venture team tapped to lead the Bank of America Stadium Renovation, officially kicked off contractor engagement efforts today with a Construction Kick-off and Contractors’ Expo event. More than 350 local trade contractors and suppliers – both large and small firms – gathered at the stadium to "Get in the Game" and learn how to position their businesses to participate in this once-in-a-generation project.
The long-awaited modernization of the home of the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC represents one of the most significant economic investments in the region’s history. Clark/D.A. Everett utilized the kick-off to connect with a broad range of businesses, deepen its network of qualified local and small contractors, and ensure this investment remains within the community.
“We recognize that a landmark investment like this from Tepper Sports & Entertainment carries a deep responsibility,” added Chris Phares, Senior Vice President at Clark Construction. “Our goal is to leverage the scale of this renovation as a platform for economic opportunity."
The morning program featured a powerful lineup of speakers, including Jake Burns, Chief Strategy & Development Officer of Tepper Sports & Entertainment, and Councilmember Malcolm Graham, alongside representatives from the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance and project leadership. Together, they provided a deep dive into the project’s technical scope and bidding timelines, equipping attendees with the insights required to help shape the future of the Carolinas. This transitioned into a high-energy Contractors’ Expo, where small business owners engaged directly with joint venture leadership and prime specialty contractors to forge the strategic relationships and learn how to build the business capacity necessary for a project of this magnitude through Clark’s Strategic Partnership Program and other resources.
This project is a historic opportunity for Charlotte’s local workforce to deliver a world-class venue for the Carolinas,” said Donovan Everett, President and CEO of D.A. Everett Construction Group. “We are breaking down traditional barriers by opening doors to opportunity for businesses large and small to meaningfully participate in this landmark renovation. We are incredibly proud to contribute to a project that will serve and inspire our community for decades to come.
